Founder Greg Jagenburg
When MusicPowerNY was founded by World Champion Swimmer Greg Jagenburg this year he made his purpose clear “To care about Long Island and its people through action, especially the children of our communities.” Long Island is a dynamic synergetic area of the country, but it offers little in terms of recreation. It seems that our nation is growing apart in many ways, so Jagenburg has found a way to intellectually connect service learning with leadership, motivation, and the positive mental mindset which builds ambassadors within our communities through children.
Professionally, Jagenburg co-founded a company that works with independent business owners growing the company to $93 million in five years. Imagine being able to generate a conscious awareness in our community which transforms into a movement on Long Island?
Greg Jagenburg is the co-founder and vice president of Bridge Capital Solutions, overseeing compliance regulations, information gathering requirements and transaction testing. Bringing nearly a decade of experience in the custom home building industry, Jagenburg has been instrumental in developing the Bridge Capital Solutions sales department and implementing the firm’s risk management program.
Prior to founding his construction company, Jagenburg helped grow his family’s business, FruitCrown Products Corp., from a regional New England food flavoring company, into a national staple. Jagenburg forged partnerships with national brands such as Hershey’s and Ben and Jerry’s to double FruitCrown’s revenue in just two years. Beyond his victories in the boardroom, Jagenburg also has a distinct legacy of athletic excellence. A competitive swimmer at both Long Beach State and the University of Arizona, where he studied business, Jagenburg was both a collegiate and world champion, earning gold medals in the Pan American games in 1975 at Mexico City and the World games in 1975 at Cali Columbia, and a silver medal in the World games in Berlin in 1978.
